Mindfulness Tip: Awareness, Pause, Breathe

Today I want to talk to you about the importance of “idleness”. Now I already know what you’re thinking…”I’m too busy to be idle! There’s too much to do!”

You’re probably thinking that you’re too busy to even read this message.

But you should know that respected research proves that when we over schedule ourselves, overbook our kids, check our phones and texts every few minutes, that we are actually less connected with the world and don’t manage stress well.

So push the Pause button!

Taking a break, slowing down…or stopping completely for a minute or two, is as indispensable to the brain as Vitamin D is to the body. That means that to really be productive, you have to take a break… stop.

Gain Awareness, Pause and Breathe.

Do it again.

Gain Awareness, Pause and Breathe. The simple APB of your life.

Regroup, Recharge, Revitalize.
