Recently I began a Masters course, which is a requirement of my journey as a Spiritual Leader. I believe it is important to continue learning and to share what we learn. Life really is a journey!
I will be sharing the transformational journey of the Labyrinth as a Journey to Your Inner Self, which is where all the answers you seek reside. Join me on October 20th at Sati Hall, in Chatham, from 12:30-4:00 pm.
Why would you want to attend?
If you answer “Yes” to any of the questions below, you will want to journey within to tap into the sacred abiding peace, to quiet the mind, and feel the stillness to transform your outcomes!
- Have you ever felt lost in the “To Do” list, the schedule, the chaos of a busy life?
- Are you overwhelmed by the amount of your responsibility and trying to keep everything balanced?
- Are you helping everyone, but risking your own health and self-care?
- Are you seeking ways to be grounded, less anxious and rushed, and feel inner peace, calm, and joy again?
- Have you ever felt like you just want to just jump off this treadmill?
You’re not alone if you answered “Yes” to one or more of my questions. My life was completely out of control when I had my horseback riding accident. I know what it is like to be a busy entrepreneur balancing work and home life.
I owned and operated the GoodLife Fitness Club for Women, while working as a Public Health Nurse, as I was completing a Masters in Divinity, and balancing my home life as wife and mother.
All that came to a grinding stop when I had my horseback riding accident leaving me with an acquired brain injury and a diagnosis of “completely disabled”. I can remember praying for a “wee swoon” so I could hit the pause button and calm the chaos and craziness that I had created.
Be Careful What You Pray For!
What I got wasn’t a “wee swoon” but a “great fall” that rendered me unconscious, a brain injury, and a diagnosis of “completely disabled”.
What now? Who am I?
I went from busy, purposeful, driven… to isolated, anxious and fearful. That led me to wondering: “So now, who am I?”
Perhaps you’re asking the same questions.
Who am I? What do I truly desire?
To resurrect a relationship? Financial stability? To be purposeful?
To focus more on my family? Or on me?
How do I stay aligned with my deepest beliefs and desires and find out who I am?
The answer is found in inner silence and a quiet mind.
And I hear you say, “Are you crazy, Sharon? How do I do this with the length of my “To Do” list, my responsibilities, and when I know another tsunami is coming?”
You aren’t broken. You don’t need to be fixed
It’s easy to lose sight of who you are in this busy world. But everything you need, to be who you were created to be, lies within you waiting to be revealed.
You may think the challenges you are facing are being caused by outside forces, but when there is a storm within, your mind and body rage against each other.
Yet there is a lighthouse within you that can guide you.
Don’t try to calm the storm.
Create Harmony from Within and the storm will pass.
You can’t always calm the storm, but you can create inner balance, peace and calm by
Creating Harmony From Within
Let me take you back to a time when you heard the heartbeat of the earth, when you felt connected within, with Spirit, and with your passion and purpose.
When you felt you could pause, even just for a moment, to hear that still small voice, the sacred song that says you are enough, you are loved, you can relax, the world won’t stop spinning if you do.
When you felt focused on your purpose and not just your “To Do” list.
When you felt guided and on track with your passion and that which matters most.
Let me help you to break through the chaos and stress and realize your full potential, who you truly want and desire to be.
“What lies behind you and what lies before you are of little matter to what lies within you. And when you bring what is within you out into the world, miracles happen.” Emmerson
