Circles of Hope

One Breath ~ One Heartbeat ~ One Song

Thank you to all of you who wrote me to say how moved you were by Everleigh’s story last week and all of the prayer requests I received.

I tell those I meet that I have the greatest people ever that read my emails and blogs!

I see our community as a Circle of Hope uplifting and praying for each other with One Breath ~ One Heartbeat ~ One Song.

One of the most transformational moments for me was meeting Malachi at the gate after my accident and having him place his head on my right shoulder and then pushing his neck to my ear so I could hear his heartbeat.

There really are no words that I can use to truly explain the joy, connection, and hope I found within that heartbeat.

I knew in that moment that I wasn’t alone. I knew that through the anger, frustration, sadness, anxiety, and depression I was experiencing that I was connected to something so much deeper than what I was experiencing.

It felt like I had become one with him and heard all of the heartbeats of all beings of the earth. The rhythm of hope that truly connects us all without our conscious effort.

Our Connection is Always There

Though we are often unaware of it, as we come into connection with each other there is an invisible circle, called the torus, resonating from the heart that connects us.

You will know how this feels to connect in this circle if someone has stood too close to you in a line at Tim Horton’s! You may feel a bit panicked, or annoyed, or even angry. They’ve invaded your personal space, the innermost torus, without your invitation.

Or maybe you have sensed someone is coming up behind you. This may have been felt as perhaps “butterflies” in your stomach suddenly started fluttering, you felt your heart perhaps speed up. These are feelings that you are often unaware of, but this is the torus of your awareness.

Or you may have felt your heart race at the sound of a siren or a baby crying that is your environmental torus.

Truly we are all connected with the rhythm of life, the heartbeat of connection, the invisible pulse of hope.

Circles of Hope – The Heartbeat of Connection

Last week when I shared Everleigh’s story, many of you asked ways that you can help, and I still believe the number one thing we can do for those we care for is prayer.

I believe prayer is energy and love, the very heartbeat of connection that with purposeful intention and authentic intent, you may aloud or silently express your desires for yourself and those you care about.

I have various ways that I pray. Some of my practices you may even say are more akin to a “meditation”.

The Merriam-Webster dictionary states that meditation isto engage in mental exercise (such as concentration on one’s breathing or repetition of a mantra) for the purpose of reaching a heightened level of spiritual awareness.

I believe that the initial stages of prayer are a meditation. That ability to ground yourself, turn inwards, and quiet the mind to access that higher consciousness, the heightened level of spiritual awareness that Merriam-Webster defined, to deepen connection with our Source and ridding ourselves of ego-driven thoughts.

This sounds easy, but keeping this awareness over our silent time in prayer can be difficult. That is why I use a labyrinth in prayer to stay focused, connected, and intentional.

You can download the labyrinth with introductory instructions on my website at www.sharoncampbellrayment.com.

When we pray within the labyrinth, a finger labyrinth or walking one, I believe we create a Circle of Hope, in which you are connecting to all the labyrinths found throughout the world and with those who use them.

This is why I invite and encourage you to download the labyrinth and begin a process of prayer for those you care aboutfor Everleigh, for those who are connected through these emails, and for the world to be a place of peace, happiness, and harmony.

Please respond to this email with “I’m in” if you would like to be a part of the “Circle of Hope” for Everleigh, and intentional about sharing hope filled intentions and energy to others.

No this doesn’t mean more work!

Your only commitment is to intentionally in Awareness – Pause – & Breathe, send positive energy, good intentions, and hope to Everleigh and to others who may need our Mindful – Prayerful – Thankful Intentions as we share hope through One Breath – One Heartbeat – One Song of Unwavering Prayers

Until next time, remember there is a greatness that lies within you! Life SHIFTS when we tap into this moment by moment, heartbeat by heartbeat.
Blessings,
Sharon
