Chaos of Mental Health

The chaos of mental health challenges affects everyone. Whether it impacts a loved one, or yourself, it causes uncertainty, emotional storms, and loss of inner peace.

My journey through the acquired brain injury, the diagnosis of being “completely disabled”, and the challenges of the post-concussion syndrome created chaos, depression, and severe anxiety for me.

Yet as I look back at my journals, I see that chaos, depression, frustration and uncertainty were part of my pre-accident existence too.  This surprised me in some ways, but I do remember bouts of depression, anxiety, and a “hurry up” life. I’ll expand upon this in my future writings, “Journals Unearthed”.

The “Ah-ha” Journals Unearthed

Through the month of October and into November, I am going to share with you my journals “unplugged”. After writing numerous journals I thought, “Why do we write them except to see the reflections of our life, patterns we hold tightly to, and moments of joy and love?”

I believe there are common themes, and nuggets of insight, that we all experience at one time or another. There is a time of embracing new births and beginnings, losses and releasing, and questioning and hoping.

My hope is that you will see yourself in some of my writings, that the insights I discovered and unearthed in my reflections, and the excerpts from the many brilliant books I have read will help you find inner peace, happiness, and abundance throughout your life.

I will also be announcing the date when I will begin to read these journals on Facebook Live. I hope you will be able to join me.

Conversations that Count

I don’t want this to be a one-way conversation. I’d like to know if you resonate with the day’s journal entry, if you agree or disagree with my reflections, if they helped or you have experienced similar situations.

You will be able to email mepost under the reflection, share it on my Facebookfeed, or private message me if you’d like to chat one on one.

Remember the two great Fall Equinox events

This Friday at 7pm we are holding a Labyrinth walk and drumming.

And we will continue the weekend with a 2-day retreat with the horses.

If you would like to speak with me regarding this, or any other questions you may have for me, contact me at Book a Call With Sharon, or email me at sharon@creatingharmonywithin.com.

Until next time keep your dreams alive, your hopes high, and your outlooks positive!
