In this last week I have had a couple of big disappointments that truly got me down.
It’s not that I don’t expect them, because the only time we will not have some disappointing stressful moments is when “the undertaker understakes to take us under”!
The funny thing is that many people feel it is bad to talk about, acknowledge, or even plan for disappointing events that may occur in your day, in your work, and throughout your life.
Then when situations don’t go as planned you don’t have a plan to manage the disappointment and fears rise that “I’ll never get this right!”
This may stop you from trying again, from stepping out and taking a risk, even though you know it’s what you really want!
The Difference Between Bravery and Courage
On Thursday November 15th at 3 pm I will be doing my first Facebook Live broadcast. I’ve got to admit I’m a wee bit anxious.
Yes, I speak in front of 100s.
Yet I’d be lying if I told you I don’t feel a bit of fear and angst just before I go onstage.
But every time I go on stage to speak I bolster my courage. I push past the fear to get to the other side where I know I am meant to be to inspire you, my readers, my audiences, to have hope, faith, and laser focus on what truly matters.
The difference between bravery and courage is that bravery is to be fearless, but courage is to feel the fear and take the risk anyway.
Facebook Live “Thankful Thursday at 3”
So, I will bolster my courage and push past my fear of making a mistake, forgetting what I planned to share, or having dead air space because I am passionate about transforming the feelings of “Squirrel to Om” for you so you can stay ON TRACK throughout your day, so you get IMPORTANT stuff done, and FEEL GOOD about what you’re accomplishing throughout your day, and stay FOCUSED on what truly matters.
From Squirrel to Om by Creating Harmony Within
In this season of chaos (there are only 6 more weeks to Christmas!) I will be sharing how to use the labyrinth to journey within and experience balance, harmony, and inner peace throughout your day.
Each Thursday I will share a story to inspire you, mine or someone else’s, journey through the labyrinth as a NeuroMindSHIFT™ meditation, and share a NeuroMindSHIFT™ tip.
And yes, I know inspiration doesn’t last, but as Zig Ziglar used to say, “neither does a shower but I highly recommend it everyday!”
That’s why I share with you a NeuroMindSHIFT™ tip for every day to keep you grounded in the midst of the Christmas Chaos, and I’ll keep coming back each Thursday at 3 until Christmas, to inspire you, bolster your hope, faith, and focus to boost your everyday successes and increase your happiness.
A NeuroMindSHIFT™ to Calm the Chaos
So when disappointments happen, when stress, and fear push their way into your day just remember to bolster your courage, know that fears and challenges may arise, and do the APB (Awareness – Pause – Breathe) and SHIFT to your B.E.S.T. – Belief, Emotion, Sensation, and Thought to create a moment of Om in your busy, “hurry up” day!
Remember, there is strength, power, courage, and greatness within you!
Cheers and blessings, Sharon
