Today I’m here to make an “Attention Arrest” for you so that you are energized, more productive and focused on what really matters.
Remember in my last blog the research by the Microsoft Corp. in Canada states that “the average human attention span has fallen from 12 seconds in 2000, or around the time the mobile revolution began, to eight seconds. Goldfish, meanwhile, are believed to have an attention span of nine seconds.”
So how do you keep focused on what you are doing so you feel successful and productive?
You put an “APB” out on yourself! You know how the police put an APB out on a missing person? Well in all regards when you don’t have your attention and focus you are MIA for yourself. You really can’t be productive!
So frequently throughout the day you have to round up your attention by regaining the “APB” of Awareness – Pause – & Breathe! Take 3 deep deep deep breaths and boost your oxygen intake, relax your body, calm your mind and refocus on what really matters!
