Many people worry and fret almost constantly throughout their day.
Most of this is caused by living in the misgivings of our past or thinking too far into the future to “how is this ever going to work out” or “how can I get this done on time” or “what if this happens”? We miss the most precious moment because when we worry we cannot remain present to the people that are with us or to the current job we are working on and miss moments of clarity, creativeness and connection to those we love.
Horses stay in the present moment. They don’t worry if they will get hay later, they don’t fret over if it might rain on them nor do they criticize themselves or others. They recognize that this moment is the only moment we truly have.
So rather than go on “auto pilot” today, stay present to the moment you are in. Now can you do this every moment of every day? Of course not! Don’t add that kind of pressure to your day.
